National Chewing Gum Day is celebrated on September 30th each year. Chewing Gum is a soft, cohesive substance designed to be chewed without being swallowed. We have used chewing gum in some form for at least 100,000 years. Today, of course, gum is sold in a variety of shapes and flavors in most stores across the country. Make sure to enjoy a stick of gum today.
